How an IVF Clinic in Bangalore Grew Traffic 2.5x in 2 Months Through Answer Engine Optimization and AI-Fingerprint Removal

Answer Engine Optimization, plus something most agencies don't even check for.

2.5x Traffic · 1.7x QueriesMay 2025

Client snapshot

IVF and fertility clinic in Bangalore. Good content on paper, underperforming visibility in practice: the classic gap between "we're publishing" and "we're being found."

The story, in my words

This one taught us something we now check for with every client. The clinic had a reasonably content-rich website. They weren't lazy; they'd clearly invested in writing. But traffic didn't reflect the effort, and when we dug in, we found two separate problems layered on top of each other.

Problem One: the content wasn't structured for how people search now. A lot of it was written to be read by a human scrolling a page, not to be pulled apart and understood by an AI-driven answer engine or a Google featured snippet. That's a structural gap, not a quality gap.

Problem Two, and this one surprised even us: parts of the content carried what we call an "AI fingerprint." Certain phrasing patterns, sentence rhythms, and structural tells that search and answer engines are increasingly trained to detect and quietly discount, even when the information itself is accurate. It's not that AI-assisted content is banned; it's that content reading as templated, generic AI output gets trusted less by ranking systems that are explicitly built to reward original expertise. We went through the entire site and rewrote flagged sections to remove those fingerprints, restoring a genuine, original voice throughout.

What we implemented

  • FAQ schema markup across key service pages, making content machine-readable for AI-driven search and answer engines: not just Google's classic algorithm, but the newer layer of AI Overviews and chat-based assistants patients now use to research treatments.
  • A full technical audit and fix pass: crawlability issues, page structure problems, and indexing gaps that were quietly capping how much of the site Google could even see properly.
  • Content restructured around actual patient questions, rewritten to directly answer what patients (and AI assistants) are asking, instead of reading like a service brochure.
  • AI-fingerprint removal across the entire website: every page reviewed and rewritten where needed, so the content reads as what it actually is: original clinical expertise, not templated output.

The honest takeaway

Search today has two audiences reading your content: humans, and increasingly, AI systems deciding whether to trust and surface it. If your content isn't structured for both, and doesn't read as authentically yours, you're competing with one hand tied behind your back.
